Just as I was about to say the same thing to you. And suddenly, we both realised we each had an amazing thing to tell eachother. Both pregnant. With practically the same due date. In sync. <br />And then, a few short weeks later, another phone call. We’d lost our babies on the same day.<br />You and me have made a few heavy-duty phone calls to eachother over the years.<br />It feels good to know you’re on the other end of that line xDrakeygirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04044143270148143924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3637563600968316769.post-41230292345556790912012-04-05T11:14:31.758+01:002012-04-05T11:14:31.758+01:00My friend - just having a catch up with your blogg...My friend - just having a catch up with your bloggs - one of my resolutions this year, in that you are my best friend and I should bloody try harder. This one hit home, I remember that fate conspired against us at the same time on that first time round, I remember it well as we had both lost our first chance of motherhood together, and as we do, we came round to see you, the boys went out to the pub, cos thats what boys do, and we sat in and had a hug, got drunk and sang the virtues of non-pregnancy - most involving the consumption of alcohol! Then the following day, in the early hours of the morning Princess Diana died, and we sat and watched the news together that morning, shocked. We weren't the only ones to lose something special I guess, you went on holiday later that day and we went home - and life went on, as it still does and should, but there are significant moments in our past which do warrant a thought and can still invoke feelings now - and this is one of them. Love you Mrs D xAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3637563600968316769.post-50067044134419780622012-03-21T09:32:42.827+00:002012-03-21T09:32:42.827+00:00Love Echo & The Bunnymen good track choice Dra...Love Echo & The Bunnymen good track choice Drakeygirl :)<br />The same thing happened to me too in 2005, a huge shock because I didn't know that I was pregnant - I'm very philosophical about it now, but like you I've wondered at times about that little bundle of cells, & what might've been?lilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14994234088700364494noreply@blogger.com
